Melissa Janneh Handmade

Welcome to my world of handmade artistry, where sustainability meets creativity. I'm Melissa Janneh, a London-based fibre artist with a deep love for crafting unique, high-quality pieces that blend tradition with modern design.

My journey into fibre art was shaped by a lifelong passion for handmade jewellery, knitwear accessories, and soft toys. After years of exploring diverse fields-from psychology and ergonomics to personal training and Pilates teaching-I finally embraced my true calling: creating timeless, sustainable pieces that bring warmth and beauty to everyday life

I work with natural materials like merino, alpaca and cotton to ensure durability, comfort, and authenticity in my knitwear and home décor. My jewellery, made with exquisite Japanese seed beads, reflects meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Sustainability is at the heart of my work, and incorporate recycled fabrics and fibres to reduce waste and honour the planet.

Inspired by my multicultural background and love for travel, my designs tell stories of heritage, craftsmanship, and creativity. Every piece is made with intention, designed to be cherished for years to come.
